Compensation: $20.00–$30.00 per hour, based on experience.

1st Shift or 2nd Shift

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support our production operations by ensuring equipment and machinery are operating efficiently and safely. This role is critical in minimizing downtime and maintaining a clean, organized, and compliant work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all company equipment and machinery, including oil checks, lubrication, filter changes, and cleaning.
  • Troubleshoot and repair production equipment, including heading machines, rolling machines, heat treatment equipment, transformers, and pipelines.
  • Conduct daily inspections of air tanks, transformer stations, and fire protection systems.
  • Operate oil reclamation systems to recycle and reuse oil.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation.
  • Report equipment issues and coordinate repairs with appropriate departments.
  • Complete equipment hook-ups and support installation activities.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of machines and work areas in alignment with 5S standards.
  • Support efforts to reduce production downtime through proactive maintenance and problem-solving.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by the Maintenance Manager.
Qualifications & Skills
  • Ability to read gauges and interpret results accurately.
  • Understanding of machine functionality and mechanical systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and stay organized.
  • Valid Hilo (forklift) license or ability to obtain certification.
Physical Requirements
  • Lift and carry 5-gallon pails of lubricating oil multiple times per day.
  • Use tools such as wrenches and ratchets to adjust machinery components.
  • Climb ladders up to 10 feet and work at elevated heights up to 12 feet.
  • Perform physical tasks including bending, twisting, gripping, and pouring from elevated platforms.
  • Work in confined spaces.
