Overview
Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator – Utility Construction
Location: Richmond, VA or Efland, NC
We are hiring an experienced Heavy Equipment Operator to support underground utility construction projects. Candidates must have experience operating heavy equipment safely and efficiently while working with utility installation crews.
Qualifications- 3+ years of heavy equipment operation experience
- Experience with backhoes, excavators, directional drills, trenchers, skid steers, bucket trucks, or cranes
- Background in underground utility, telecom, electric, gas, or civil construction
- Knowledge of utility installation, excavation, and job site safety
- Valid CDL Class A preferred
- Ability to meet DOT requirements (physical and drug screening)
