Service Tech - ROS

Job Overview

United Rentals is the world’s largest equipment rental provider and is seeking a Service Technician I to perform maintenance and minor repairs on rental equipment in a safe, professional manner.

• Perform maintenance checks on rental equipment before and after use
• Report machine condition to management
• Perform minor repairs, including checking oil, grease, fluids, electrical, AC systems, and plumbing
• Tag equipment for rental‑ready status
• Assist with pick‑up and delivery of equipment and parts
• Manage and organize inventory
• Complete other duties as assigned

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record
• Basic knowledge of diesel engines, vacuum trucks, AC systems, and RV systems
• Strong mechanical aptitude and knowledge of applicable tools
• Basic plumbing knowledge
• Superior customer service, teamwork, and communication skills
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. frequently
• Position is Safety Sensitive per United Rentals’ policies and procedures
