Industrial Electrician - 1st Shift
Monday - Friday 7:00am - 3:30pm

Southern Pines, North Carolina
Apply electrical theory and related knowledge to the testing, development, modification, and operation of electrical control systems, equipment, and circuitry. This includes diagnosing and repairing electrical systems, apparatuses, and electronic components of industrial machinery and equipment.
Responsibilities- Follow LOTO and Arc flash requirements per NFPA 70-E, and all company policies and procedures.
- Perform routine and emergency service on manufacturing production equipment.
- Maintain and troubleshoot plant manufacturing operations and control systems to ensure safety and reliability.
- Install branch distribution circuits to support new equipment installations.
- Train in the operation and maintenance of all critical facility systems.
- Interface and coordinate within and across departments to troubleshoot and maintain operational performance.
- Communicate electrical concepts to all levels of staff and management.
- Adjust equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Replace worn, damaged, or defective mechanical and electrical parts.
- Reassemble equipment after completion of inspections, testing, or repairs.
- Capable of lifting 35 lbs., work in hot and cold environments, weekends as necessary.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience working as an Industrial Electrician.
- Electrical license or journeyman’s card preferred.
- Read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and building plans.
- Proficient in troubleshooting AC-DC circuits, AC drives, etc.
- Knowledge of PLCs, installation and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting.
- Strong mechanical aptitude.
- Apply skills to perform assigned tasks, maintaining high quality of workmanship as per NEC requirements.
- Proficient at installation of new equipment running conduit and pulling wire to make necessary connections as per NEC code.
- Ability to learn and utilize maintenance work order system.
- Works well in a team environment.
- Good interpersonal and communication skills; knowledge of industrial communication and protocols.
- Effectively and safely uses precision tools, machinery, and equipment.
- Works well in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
- Works with minimal supervision.
- Strong organizational skills, ability to work on multiple priorities at once.
- HS Diploma or GED preferred.
This position will be based onsite / in-person.
