Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization, is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join their team. As a Maintenance Technician, you will be an essential part of the Plant Operations supporting the maintenance and reliability of mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, a proactive attitude, and the ability to work independently, ensuring the smooth operation of plant equipment and safety standards.

Location: Madison, NC

Pay Range: $20-30/hr DOE

Shift: Night Shift (12-hour, 6:45 pm to 7:00 am, every other weekend, including holidays)

• Perform mechanical and electrical work at Plant 5, including troubleshooting and repairs
• Conduct preventive maintenance on all mechanical and electrical equipment to ensure optimal operation
• Work independently to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions
• Utilize electrical skills related to 480v, 3-phase power, and motor circuit controls
• Assist with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding, and basic computer tasks as needed

• Strong electrical skills, including knowledge of 480v, 3-phase power, and motor controls
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting and NEC code knowledge
• Proficiency in hydraulic and pneumatic systems, welding, and basic computer skills
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds and work at heights or in challenging environments
• Must furnish own tools and be flexible to work overtime or at other Madison plants if required
