Your Role

Factor_, a brand of Hello Fresh, is looking for you as a Maintenance Technician (all genders).

As part of our maintenance team, you will ensure that our commercial and industrial cooking and food processing equipment runs reliably and is always ready for use.

Your goal: maximum uptime, high system reliability, and a smooth, safe production process.

In this role, you will be our contact person for mechanical, electrical, and/or refrigeration systems, depending on your professional focus.

• Maintenance & Repair:
  Independently performing maintenance, inspections, and repairs on conveyor belts, automation, and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshooting:
  Diagnosing and resolving technical issues including PLCs, sensors, and drive technology; escalating to suppliers or management as needed.
• Root Cause Analysis:
  Conducting root cause analyses (e.g., 5-Why) on failures and providing support for technical issues in the network.
• Technical Projects:
  Participating in projects, commissioning, and audits including safety checks and acceptance of new equipment.
• Knowledge Sharing:
  Providing technical guidance to junior technicians and sharing expertise in mechanics, electricity, pneumatics, and refrigeration.
• Documentation:
  Carefully maintaining all maintenance and repair actions in the CMMS and relevant tools.
• Continuous Improvement:
  Actively contributing to initiatives to increase efficiency, safety, and equipment availability.
• Supplier Coordination:
  Evaluating external services and providing feedback on quality and SLA compliance.

• Completed technical training, e.g., as an industrial mechanic, mechatronic technician, electronics technician, or equivalent.
• Several years of experience in the maintenance and upkeep of automation, conveyor, or refrigeration technology, if possible.
• Good knowledge of mechanics, electricity, and pneumatics as well as experience in troubleshooting automated systems.
• Comfortable reading technical drawings, schematics, and diagrams – initial experience sufficient, advanced knowledge welcome.
• Ideally, experience with PLC systems, sensors, drive technology, and familiarity with CMMS systems and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of LOTO processes and relevant safety regulations is a plus.
• Experience with root cause analysis methods such as RCA or 5-Why is desirable.
• Willingness to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Enjoy sharing knowledge and providing technical guidance to colleagues.
