Excellerate Electrician I – Pittsboro, IN

The Excellerate Electrician I is responsible for electrical assemblies and installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the Excellerate facility. The role requires adherence to safety standards, construction codes, and lean manufacturing principles.

• Layout conduit systems, lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders.
• Analyze blueprints and ensure projects are built to specifications and accuracy expectations.
• Maintain workstation, tools, and manufacturing environment.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and OSHA requirements.
• Assist in toolbox talks, safety audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Identify, correct, and report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
• Obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively.
• Provide technical assistance and mentorship to General Assemblers/Apprentices.
• Install motor feeders and make standard motor connections.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with NEC.
• Complete project portions on time, within budget, and safely.
• Coaches and inspires team members to exceed customer expectations.
• Participate in company hiring referral and mentoring programs as appropriate.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
• Travel required:
  
  10-25%.
• Work schedule:
  
  between 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
• Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC).
• Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• All prior classification requirements must be continually satisfied.
