Excellerate Electrician I – Pittsboro, IN
The Excellerate Electrician I is responsible for electrical assemblies and installations, troubleshooting, and maintenance within the Excellerate facility. The role requires adherence to safety standards, construction codes, and lean manufacturing principles.
Key Responsibilities- Layout conduit systems, lighting systems, basic control systems, and feeders.
- Analyze blueprints and ensure projects are built to specifications and accuracy expectations.
- Maintain workstation, tools, and manufacturing environment.
- Follow workplace safety procedures and ensure compliance with company and OSHA requirements.
- Assist in toolbox talks, safety audits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify, correct, and report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents in a timely manner.
- Obtain, organize, and manage materials effectively.
- Provide technical assistance and mentorship to General Assemblers/Apprentices.
- Install motor feeders and make standard motor connections.
- Install, maintain, and troubleshoot basic electrical systems in compliance with NEC.
- Complete project portions on time, within budget, and safely.
- Coaches and inspires team members to exceed customer expectations.
- Participate in company hiring referral and mentoring programs as appropriate.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Completion of an apprenticeship or equivalent work experience (8,000 hours).
- Travel required:
10-25%. - Work schedule:
between 6am-6pm or 6pm-6am, may include nights, weekends, and holidays. - Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and blueprints.
- Knowledge of National Electric Code (NEC).
- Strong attention to safety and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- All prior classification requirements must be continually satisfied.
