Pay RangeThe pay range for this role is $20.00-$35.00 per hour. Compensation is based on your unique qualifications and experience.

The Crane Operator is responsible for operating and managing various types of cranes to lift, move, position, and carry loads in construction and industrial sites.
Responsibilities And Duties- Operate various types of cranes to lift and transport heavy loads.
- Conduct regular inspections and maintenance checks on crane equipment to ensure safety and functionality.
- Follow and enforce safety guidelines and protocols to minimize risks and ensure a safe working environment.
- Collaborate with ground crew to ensure proper communication during lifting operations.
- Read and interpret blueprints, load charts and work orders to determine lift requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of operations, including load weights, equipment usage and safety checks.
- Perform emergency procedures and troubleshooting in case of equipment malfunction.
- Adhere to all federal, state and local regulations regarding crane operations and safety.
- Assist in the development of critical lift plans.
- Exceptional manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
- A sound understanding of pertinent safety guidelines.
- Capacity to provide and follow directions.
- Sharp decision-making skills, particularly when under pressure.
- Strong Mechanical aptitude.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents.
- Ability to safely and efficiently operate.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team environment.
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Minimum 5yrs experience operating various types of cranes
- High school diploma or equivalent, additional technical training in crane operation is preferred.
- Valid crane operator certification (NCCO) is required.
- Proven experience operating cranes in construction or industrial settings.
- Must be able to work in an active outdoor construction site environment.
- Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, and work in confined spaces and in proximity to loud equipment.
- Must be able to traverse irregular and steep terrain.
- Must be able to work in various weather conditions and be exposed to dirt or dust.
- Must be able to wear the required personal protective equipment while at work.
- Must be able to lift and carry 25lbs regularly and 50lbs occasionally.
