- Perform scheduled preventative and corrective maintenance on EAS assets, facility equipment, and building systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair common mechanical, plumbing, lighting, door, hardware, and facility-related issues with minimal supervision.
- Support repairs to fabrication equipment, welding equipment, air systems, pumps, motors, and other production support equipment within training and qualifications.
- Complete small installations, modifications, and facility improvement assignments.
- Read and follow equipment manuals, preventative maintenance procedures, basic drawings, and manufacturer recommendations.
- Prioritize assigned work orders and communicate expected completion dates, delays, and material needs.
- Assist with contractor coordination and verify assigned work areas are ready and safe for outside vendors.
- Train and mentor Maintenance Technician I employees in safe work practices and routine maintenance tasks.
- Maintain accurate maintenance logs, work orders, parts usage, and equipment history.
- Identify recurring failures and recommend practical corrective actions or process improvements.
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls and elevate complex or high-risk conditions as appropriate.
- Follow all EAS safety policies, procedures, and lockout/tagout requirements.
- Other duties may be added as needed by supervision.
- Reading and speaking proficiency in either English or Spanish required.
- High School Diploma or GED required, or an equivalent combination of education and related experience.
- Three or more years of commercial, industrial, manufacturing, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
- Trade school, apprenticeship, or technical training in a maintenance-related field preferred.
- Experience in the operation and repair of one or more of the following is considered a plus:
- Fabrication machinery
- Robotic machinery
- Painting systems
- Welding machines and leads
- Refrigeration / HVAC
- Electrical / Control systems
- Hydraulics
- Pneumatics
Demonstrates expertise in performing preventative and corrective maintenance on various facility systems and equipment, with a strong emphasis on troubleshooting and repair. Proficient in training and mentoring junior technicians while maintaining accurate logs and adhering to safety protocols.
