Smithfield Foods - - Responsibilities:
Manage the repair of material-handling equipment (MHE), including monitoring and trending, troubleshooting and repairs and preventative maintenance;
Conduct installation and repairs on electrical and lighting issues, dock doors, and dock plates;
Perform preventive maintenance within manufacturer guidelines and timelines, including oil changes, filter changes, calibration, belt changes, inspections, lubrication;
Log time and materials into computerized maintenance management system;
Interpret and understand plans, specifications, schematics, operating and maintenance manuals
