Bladen County is seeking a Water Utility Mechanic to install, maintain, repair, and operate the county’s water treatment and distribution systems. The role participates in snow and ice management and reports to a supervisor for ensuring timely and safe operation of all equipment.
Responsibilities include calibrating equipment, maintaining meters, inspecting pumps, and supporting emergency response efforts. Requires a vocational diploma and NC CDL with Water Well certifications.
