GFL Environmental is seeking a PM Mechanic to perform preventative maintenance and light to moderate repairs on waste collection trucks and heavy equipment. In this role, you'll complete inspections, services, fluid changes, and minor diagnostics to keep our fleet safe, compliant, and operating efficiently. Working in a fast-paced, safety-focused shop, you'll collaborate with technicians and operations staff, follow maintenance schedules, and accurately document all work.

Responsibilities
- Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on waste collection trucks and heavy equipment
- Conduct inspections, fluid changes, lubrication, and adjustments per manufacturer and company standards
- Identify and complete light to moderate mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical repairs
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot basic equipment issues and report major defects
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and parts usage
- Follow all safety, environmental, and OSHA guidelines in the shop
- Collaborate with technicians and operations staff to prioritize and schedule work
- Support a clean, organized, and compliant maintenance facility
