PM Mechanic

GFL Environmental is seeking a PM Mechanic to perform preventive maintenance and light repairs on our fleet of trucks and equipment. In this role, you'll inspect, service, and troubleshoot diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems to keep our operations safe and reliable. You'll complete maintenance records, follow safety and environmental procedures, and work closely with operators and supervisors to plan service.

Responsibilities

• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on trucks and equipment
• Inspect and service diesel engines, hydraulics, brakes, and electrical systems
• Diagnose and complete minor to moderate repairs to reduce downtime
• Maintain accurate maintenance and repair records in company systems
• Follow all safety, environmental, and company maintenance procedures
• Communicate equipment status and repair needs to supervisors and operators
• Assist with emergency repairs and support shop housekeeping standards
