Power Plant Field Supervisor

Foreman - Contract

WECTEC Staffing - BHI Energy is currently looking for a Working Foreman. You will work onsite at the Roxboro Power Plant located in Roxboro, NC.

Responsible for day-to-day direction and supervision of work activities of direct reports within assigned areas.

You will report to the department manager.

Specific Duties and Responsibilities -

Specific job responsibilities and duties should include but not be limited to:

• Direct daily activities of assigned personnel
• Augment and support assigned personnel in areas requiring additional assistance and at times where work demand his higher than expected
• Conduct and document focused observations of work activities for safety and operational improvement opportunities
• Provide direct coordination between client personnel and work group to understand daily and weekly work scope
• All duties and responsibilities contained within Job Description for those personnel being supervised
• Notify management of need for repairs

Additional Responsibilities:

• Conduct and actively participate in Pre-Job and Safety Briefings
• Follow established safe work practices
• Use administrative documents, procedures, data sheets/forms properly
• Climb and work from ladders and scaffolding if necessary
• Capable of performing assigned duties and responsibilities.

Requirements:

• Valid driver's license required
• High school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• You will pass background and pre-employment drug screen.
• 1 year foreman experience.

We are committed to transparency and equity in all of our people practices. The base pay for this position, which is dependent upon experience, qualifications and skills, is estimated to be $20 to $23 an hour.
