A/C Refrigeration Technician
At Bayliss Boatworks, our in-house mechanical department is looking for a dedicated technician to service and install marine A/C and refrigeration systems. Our new construction and service yard projects demand the highest standards of quality. An excellent work ethic, attention to detail, troubleshooting ability, and self-motivation are essential to succeed in this role. ABYC certification and marine experience are preferred.
Key Responsibilities:
- Service and install marine A/C and refrigeration systems for new builds and service yard projects.
- Troubleshoot and repair A/C and refrigeration systems, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Maintain and install equipment in compliance with ABYC standards and company specifications.
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure all installations and repairs meet quality standards.
- Provide preventative maintenance to maximize system longevity and prevent issues.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience working with A/C and refrigeration systems.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair systems efficiently and effectively.
- ABYC certification and marine experience are preferred but not required.
- Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and committed to delivering high-quality work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team.
