Mechanic – Field Service Technician

Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks
Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks
Maintain a service van and its inventory
Process paperwork after completion of each job

• Less than 2 years related experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks
• Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes
• Knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines
• Ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics
• Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills
• Technical degree and previous lift truck repair preferred
• Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment
• Industry related training is preferred
• Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through

Demonstrates strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot and repair lift trucks, including knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, and internal combustion engines. Proficient in reading schematics and service manuals, ensuring effective maintenance and customer service.
