Pump Mechanic

Tradesmen International is immediately hiring experienced Pump Mechanics for projects located in or around Dallas, NC. This is a first shift opportunity and the pay rate is $26-$30/hour based on experience and skill level. Job Scope:

Diagnose mechanical failures on industrial pumps and rotating equipment
Inspect, disassemble, clean, rebuild, and reassemble pumps and related equipment
Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and complete pump overhauls
Install, align, and commission new pumping equipment
Read and interpret equipment drawings, manuals, and repair documentation
Prepare detailed inspection reports and maintain accurate service records
Recommend repair options and replacement parts
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members
Assist with field service assignments as needed

Requirements:

High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience repairing industrial pumps or rotating equipment
Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills
Ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, precision measuring instruments, and shop equipment
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Lift and carry up to 50 lbs. regularly
Stand, kneel, bend, crouch, and climb throughout the workday
Work safely in shop and industrial plant environments
Comfortable working around machinery, noise, heat, cold, and dusty conditions
Ability to safely operate forklifts (training provided if needed)

Industrial Maintenance, Millwright, or Rotating Equipment Repair
