Position Overview:

Youth Haven Services is expanding its Day Treatment (DTX) program to Person County, NC, and we are seeking a dedicated Site Manager to oversee the program. The role involves supporting youth and families through direct care, skill‑building services, and case coordination to promote stability and community success.

Qualifications

Education: Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Human Services; master’s degree preferred.
Work Experience: Minimum of 2 years of direct experience with a mental health diagnosis/population.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities: Supervisory experience, knowledge of community resources, strong communication skills (written and verbal), computer proficiency (word processing, Excel, On Target, photocopier, fax), organizational and prioritization abilities, flexibility, multitasking, relationship building, sound judgment, and initiative.
Travel Requirements: Services delivered at assigned school.

Job Duties

Actively participate in the development of Person-Centered Plans with school personnel, social services professionals, clients, and families; ensure evidence-based therapy model implementation; educate families on client progress and community services; advocate for service connections; and train clients in coping, problem-solving, and communication skills. (40%)

Maintain up-to-date client records per YHS standards, prepare reports, and file documents accurately; schedule and attend weekly clinical supervision. (25%)

Complete client paperwork, delegate duties, manage authorizations and reauthorizations, and review and approve all notes. (10%)

Provide crisis intervention and treatment in school settings as needed to foster classroom behavior; respond outside classroom or after school hours when required. (10%)

Be present in school with clients during school hours; supervise the Day Treatment program and staff; report to the Day Treatment program director. (10%)

Other duties as assigned or required. (5%)

Work Environment:
Service delivery on the campus of the day treatment facility.
