Recruitment Range: $52,592 to $92,036

Sign‑On Bonus: $5,000 (subject to eligibility)

• Provide intensive social work services in serious and complicated cases that require a flexible use of casework, group work, and community organization techniques across settings such as psychiatric hospitals, developmental centers, child care facilities, Head Start/Early Head Start, home settings, correctional and juvenile justice facilities.
• Conduct in‑depth assessments of family dynamics and needs; assess and treat patients and/or families with acute to severe emotional disorders, developmental disabilities, and mental illnesses.
• Coordinate with families, professional disciplines, community agencies, and court officials to advance the psychosocial rehabilitation and adjustment of clients.
• Supervise and train lower‑level social workers, students, and social workers pursuing Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
• Report to program directors or unit supervisors and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams on patient‑centered treatment and care plans.

• Documented experience building rapport with persons and families, evaluating patient risk of dangerousness, and applying appropriate interventions based on thorough assessment and treatment plans.
• Facilitation and collaboration in developing and implementing patient‑centered treatment/care plans within a multidisciplinary team.
• Experience working with other disciplines and/or agencies.
• Effective communication with community agencies, ability to work independently, self‑motivated and organized.
• Clear and concise expression of ideas, and ability to plan and execute work effectively.
• Master’s degree from an accredited school of social work.
• Licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (NC SW Certification and Licensure Board); trainees may be considered with the Associate License (LCSW‑A) if fully qualified applicants are not available.
