Do you have a heart for helping youth heal and grow? Ready to make a real impact, one day at a time?

Join the team at Anderson Health Services — where every shift is a chance to make a difference.

We’re seeking compassionate, reliable, and energetic individuals to join us as Youth Care Workers in a therapeutic environment designed to help adolescents thrive. Our mission is to provide a safe, supportive space where youth can heal from trauma, build positive relationships, and learn the life skills they need to succeed in the world.

As a Part-time or PRN Youth Care Worker, you’ll work one shift per week (weekends availability required), helping to create a healthy, high-energy culture that uplifts and empowers at-risk youth ages 6–17. You’ll be part of a collaborative team that’s deeply committed to trauma-informed care and emotional support.

What You’ll Do:
  • Supervise and guide youth in daily routines and activities
  • Encourage participation in group discussions and programs
  • Promote healthy coping strategies and emotional regulation
  • Foster a non-punitive, emotionally safe space
  • Support the development of individualized treatment plans
  • Help manage conflicts through positive communication and mediation
  • Ensure progress and incidents are documented and shared with the Treatment Team
  • Build meaningful relationships based on trust and empathy
  • Uphold health, hygiene, and safety standards
  • Model consistency, patience, and positive behavior
What You’ll Need:
  • High school diploma or GED required (Associate degree a plus)
  • Minimum 2 years experience working with youth (ages 6–17) preferred
  • Must be 21+ years old with a valid NC driver’s license and clean driving record
  • Must pass a background check and drug screening
  • Strong emotional intelligence and ability to self-regulate
  • Coachable, dependable, and team-oriented
Why Join Us?

At Anderson Health Services, we believe in healing through connection. We offer a nurturing environment—not only for our clients but for our staff, too. You’ll receive training, ongoing support, and the opportunity to truly change lives.
