Certified Pilates Instructor

Lake Toxaway Country Club is nestled around the serene shoreline of North Carolina's largest private lake, offering breathtaking views and a vibrant atmosphere. The club serves as a social hub for families and friends to gather and create memorable experiences April through November while the Fitness Center is open year round. Members and their guests enjoy exceptional facilities and amenities, including multiple dining options, a championship golf course, fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, croquet lawns, and an outdoor swimming pool.

The club also hosts various special activities and exclusive events throughout the season, ensuring a dynamic and engaging environment.

This is a part-time, on-site Certified Pilates Instructor position based in Lake Toxaway, NC. The instructor will lead individual and duo Pilates training appointments, tailoring sessions to meet diverse fitness levels and goals. Responsibilities include planning and delivering engaging exercise routines, assisting clients with proper form and techniques, and ensuring a safe and welcoming studio environment. Building positive client relationships and providing exceptional customer service will also be key aspects of this role, as well as contributing to the overall fitness programming at the club.

• Proficiency in Pilates Instruction with the Cadillac and Reformer and Group Exercise techniques
• Knowledge and experience in Exercise Science concepts for the general healthy population and special populations and/or movement-based post rehabilitation
• Demonstrated skills in Customer Service and personalized client engagement
• Strong Teaching abilities to guide and motivate clients effectively
• Certification in Pilates instruction is required
• CPR and First Aid certifications are required
• Enthusiasm for health and wellness, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
