Position: Shuttle Supervisor
Location: Asheville Regional Airport
Pay Rate: $21.00/hr.
Schedule: Full-Time | On-Site | Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday 11:00am-7:00pm

LAZ Airport Services is hiring a Shuttle Supervisor to oversee shuttle operations at Asheville Regional Airport
. This key role ensures efficient vehicle maintenance, driver scheduling, DOT compliance, and the functionality of shuttle tracking and route systems. If you're a hands‑on leader with transportation experience, we want to hear from you.
Job Duties
- Ensures staff adheres to rules of conduct, policies and procedures.
- Supervises, mentors, and trains shuttle drivers on day‑to‑day activities.
- Assists in establishing performance standards, recommending, and implementing changes to procedures when necessary.
- Promotes good customer relations by consistently providing premier customer satisfaction with a friendly demeanor, can‑do attitude, and willingness to help at all times.
- Enforces DOT regulations and LAZ safety standards.
- Monitors driver logs and conducts audits to ensure compliance.
- Assists with periodic training as needed.
- Assists with creation of monthly garage schedule and ensures consistent service levels.
- Manages GPS vehicle tracking systems and route performance software (SAMSARA).
- Ensures signage, communication devices, and other shuttle equipment are operational.
- Greets by name, is responsive and timely with correspondence and problem resolution, and displays a caring attitude, developing rapport with the customer base.
- Has basic computer skills in the parking revenue control system.
- Oversees preventative maintenance and service schedules for the shuttle fleet.
- Maintains accurate records of vehicle inspections, repairs, and service history.
- Ensures all vehicles meet safety and cleanliness standards.
- Prepares usage, maintenance, and shift reports for leadership.
- Addresses customer service issues and resolves operational concerns promptly.
- Other related duties as assigned.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Supervisory experience is preferred but not required.
- Strong customer service experience.
- Parking industry experience is required.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in transportation, logistics, or supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle fleet operations.
- Proficient in scheduling tools, GPS tracking systems, and Microsoft Office.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Availability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to communicate professionally and effectively.
- Ability to speak, read, and comprehend the English language.
- Must be open to feedback, differing opinions, and other points of view.
- Demonstrates a sense of urgency and timeliness.
- Demonstrates the ability to seek improvement.
- Excellent team‑building and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull at least 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, and run for extended periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat and lift frequently throughout a shift.
- Willingness to work in the elements—heat, wind, snow, rain, etc.
