Environmental Services - Seasonal Worker

Job Title

TOWN OF WRIGHTSVLLE BEACH

Knowledge of the hazards of the work and OSHA safety requirements. Working knowledge of traffic laws, ordinances, and regulations regarding the operation of town vehicles and equipment. This includes but is not limited to leaf blowers, push mowers, vacuum equipment. Ability to prepare electronic or written records. Ability to understand and carry out oral and written instructions. Ability to work in all types of weather.

Physical Requirements Must be able to physically perform the basic life operational functions of climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, standing, walking, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, and capable of repetitive motions. Must be able to perform manual work exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds constantly. Must possess the visual acuity to operate a motorized equipment and distinguish traffic patterns to avoid injury to self and others.

Desirable

Education and Experience Graduation from high school and some experience in the operation of motorized vehicles; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirement Possess a valid North Carolina driver's license. Special
