Job Overview

Position:
Hog Driver / Feed Delivery Driver.

Compensation: $85,000/year (Hog Driver); $75,000/year (Feed Delivery Driver).

• Successfully complete the driver training program.
• Follow required and recommended safety procedures while driving, delivering feed, or loading and unloading vehicles with animal welfare as the foremost concern.
• Comply with all DOT rules and regulations.
• Report all accidents promptly to the proper authorities.
• Comply with all rules set forth by the receiving agent.
• Additional duties may be assigned as needed.

• High school diploma or GED (preferred).
• Current Class A CDL.
• One year of commercial driving experience.
• At least 21 years old.
• Acceptable driving record.
• Ability to obtain a DOT medical card upon hire.
• Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be able to lift 50 pounds, hook up a trailer to a tractor (including backing under the trailer, raising landing gear, connecting airlines), operate a manual transmission tractor, climb into engine area for pre‑trip inspections, open and close trailer gates and doors, get in and out of cab in tight places, and handle tasks that require manual labor and coordination.

Must be able to report problems encountered on the farm or plant through the appropriate reporting methods and understand the emergency notification process.
