The client, an industry leader in energy services, is seeking a Class A CDL Driver to join their team. The ideal candidate will demonstrate reliability, safety-consciousness, and teamwork, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Class A CDL Driver

Pay Range: $65000 - $8000

What’s the Job?

Safely operate CDL Class A vehicles and equipment in compliance with all DOT regulations and company policies. Transport equipment, materials, and products to and from customer locations and job sites. Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle logs. Assist with loading, unloading, and securing equipment and materials. Perform routine equipment checks and report maintenance concerns.

What’s Needed?

Valid CDL Class A license required. Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements. Previous experience operating commercial vehicles and equipment preferred. Strong safety mindset and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Operate vehicle in accordance with OSHA and DOT requirements, as well as all local, state and federal laws
• Perform pre and post trip vehicle inspections and document utilizing the standard DVR
• Deliver quality customer service and interaction at the utmost professional level
• Record and maintain daily customer delivery tickets
• Communicate customer requests and/or service interruptions to Operations staff
• Drop and hooks at customer locations and warehouse

Minimum Job Qualifications

• A valid Class A or B Commercial Driver's License
• Must be 21 years of age
• At least two (2) years of experience driving commercial routes, preferably in the recycling or waste management industry.
• Successfully complete pre-employment DOT drug screen, physical and 7-year background check
• Must be able to verify and maintain accurate daily records
• Strong customer service skills
• Be able to lift up to 65 lbs. and push/pull 200 lb. recycling containers
