Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage the transportation of Inbound and Outbound Rebalance and Return Material shipments requested by internal work streams across all Global Logistics sites.
  • Manage the end-to-end transportation execution from receipt of the shipment request through collection, in-transit movement and final delivery.
  • Plan and coordinate shipments across all applicable Modes of Transportation (Air, Ocean, Truck and Rail) based on required delivery dates, shipment characteristics, service requirements and cost.
  • Coordinate with requesting work streams and origin and destination sites to confirm shipment requirements, readiness, collection timing, delivery requirements and priorities.
  • Arrange transportation with approved carriers and logistics service providers, including booking, capacity confirmation, collection scheduling and delivery coordination.
  • Coordinate the required transportation and shipping documentation with the relevant internal teams, carriers and service providers to support successful shipment execution.
  • Track shipments from collection through final delivery and provide appropriate end-to-end shipment visibility to internal stakeholders.
  • Proactively manage transportation exceptions, including missed collections, delays, capacity constraints, carrier issues and delivery exceptions.
  • Coordinate and escalate critical or time-sensitive transportation requirements to ensure appropriate actions are taken to protect required delivery dates.
  • Support urgent and expedited Rebalance and Return Material movements, identifying transportation solutions that appropriately balance service requirements, urgency and cost.
  • Monitor transportation costs and support the selection of the most appropriate transportation solution based on business requirements and agreed service levels.
  • Identify opportunities for shipment consolidation, mode optimization, route optimization and improved transportation utilization.
  • Support carrier and logistics service-provider performance management, including collection performance, transit-time adherence, delivery performance and shipment exceptions.
  • Maintain accurate shipment and transportation records to support operational visibility, performance reporting and cost management.
  • Monitor and report transportation KPIs, including on-time collection, on-time delivery, transit-time performance, transportation cost, shipment exceptions and carrier performance.
  • Identify recurring transportation issues and coordinate corrective actions with carriers, service providers, sites and relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Provide transportation coordination and operational support across the Global Logistics Network, supporting Rebalance and Return Material requirements between manufacturing sites and other designated locations.
  • Support the implementation and improvement of transportation lanes, carrier solutions, operating processes and transportation standards across the Global Logistics Network.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on improving transportation efficiency, shipment visibility, service performance and cost effectiveness.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Transportation, Operations, or related field
  • 2+ years experience in Supply chain, transportation, logistics, Import/Export, etc.

  • Experience working with a global company
  • Ability to coordinator and keep track of multiple things at once

  • Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities
