Burke Oil & Propane Company is seeking to add a propane driver to our team. We are a local company that is expanding with a fleet of new trucks and modern technology – come grow with us! - Class B CDL with Hazmat and tanker endorsement, Class A is preferred
- Valid medical card
- Clean M.V.R.
- Driving experience – 2 years
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Experience loading a bobtail propane truck and/or tank wagon a plus.
- Experienced route delivery in residential and commercial settings a plus
- Sets a positive example and is a team player
- Manages work flow
- Performs other duties as required
- Capable of climbing in and out of a truck cab, ascending or descending 2 steps up to 60 times a day
- Make up to 30 stops a day
- Drag a 1.5” diameter hose up to 150’ at each stop
- Capable to uncoil and recoil hose from truck, pulling hose over shoulder
- Ability to perform bilateral and single reaching wrist rotation and fine dexterity to steer truck, engage controls to dispense product and handle hose
- Stand and walk up to 90 minutes during delivery time at customers location
- Climb a ladder up to 5’
- Capable of lifting up to 70 lbs
- Experience driving in ice and snow

Shift DaysTravel Requirements Servicing Burke, Catawba, Lincoln and Caldwell counties of North Carolina
Compensation Income: $24 - $29 an hour depending upon experience.
