Job OverviewRetrieves and stacks specific product quantities as specified on pick tickets, travels throughout the warehouse to build stable pallets, and transports pallets using a powered industrial truck. Works to maintain safety, accuracy, and efficiency while meeting company expectations.
Duties & Responsibilities- Retrieve and place quantities of cases of product onto a pre-determined pallet as instructed by the assigned pick ticket, ensuring pallets are stable and safe.
- Transport pallets of stacked product to different areas of the warehouse via a powered industrial truck (pallet jack).
- Assist in warehouse cleanliness and housekeeping as assigned.
- Perform daily PIT checklist and alert warehouse management of any issues discovered.
- Correct mistakes in product quantity as identified by the checker.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Perform miscellaneous activities to support efficient warehouse operations.
- Work in a fast‑paced environment while walking and repetitively lifting up to 30 lbs.
- Lift up to 75 lbs.
- Collaborate within a team environment.
- Coordinate and organize efficient warehouse processes.
- Adapt to role needs across different work areas throughout the day.
- Read and interpret instructions from a computer screen.
- Pay attention to detail and differentiate packages.
- Work in a noisy, non‑climate controlled environment.
- Proactive self‑starter who seeks value‑add opportunities.
- Flexible to schedule changes demanded by business.
- Knowledge acquired through up to 12 months of work experience.
- PIT (Powered Industrial Truck) certification:
Pallet jack.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Experience up through 12 months of work experience.
- PIT certification:
Pallet jack.
- Noisy and non-temperature-controlled environment (hot in summer, cold in winter).
