Location: Royal Pines

We are looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Receiving Warehouse Lead to join our 1st Shift team in Arden, NC. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate inventory records, receiving raw materials, supporting warehouse operations, and providing entry-level oversight of receiving workflows to ensure materials move safely and efficiently from the warehouse to mixing and production.

You’ll Do
  • Accurately receive, inspect, and record incoming shipments of raw materials and finished products.
  • Receive all shipments electronically into the ERP system.
  • Examine incoming materials to ensure all specifications and quality standards are met.
  • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders and confirm accuracy of received items.
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with inventory control tasks.
  • Support warehouse operations, including safe material handling and organization.
  • Ensure safety, quality, and food safety by following company rules and standards, enforcing requirements, and communicating violations or concerns to the leadership team.
Requirements
  • Provide day-to-day coordination of receiving activities to ensure materials flow accurately and on time to mixing and production.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for drivers, temporary workers, and material handlers entering the receiving area, ensuring they follow safety and GMP expectations.
  • Assist in training new team members on receiving procedures, material handling, ERP transactions, and safety requirements.
  • Help prioritize receiving and put-away tasks based on production schedules, communicating delays or issues to the Warehouse Manager.
  • Monitor receiving dock organization, cleanliness, and compliance, guiding others as needed to maintain a safe and efficient workspace.
  • Support verification of materials staged for mixing/production, ensuring correct lot rotation, labeling, and documentation.
  • Provide feedback to leadership on workflow gaps, process improvements, and team support needs.
What We’re Looking For
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in receiving or warehouse operations.
  • Prior experience providing informal leadership, training, or coordination preferred.
  • Ability to work safely in a wet, noisy, and non-temperature-controlled environment.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to train.
  • Experience with supply chain, material handling, and ERP systems preferred.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft applications.
  • A self-starter with strong prioritization skills and comfort working in a fast-paced, changing environment.
