Warehouse Supervisor — 1st Shift

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Materials Supervisor will lead the warehouse, receiving, and inventory control activities at the Siemens plant in Wendell, NC for the 1st shift. Relocation assistance is available.

• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Maintain department staff performance by training, measuring, monitoring, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees.
• Ensure good condition of facility/equipment through regular audits and implementation of preventative maintenance protocols and 6S principles.
• Respond timely and professionally to internal customers’ complaints and inquiries.
• Conduct short and mid‑term capacity planning to align labor and equipment resources with demand.
• Monitor department workflow indicators and address exceptions in picking, receiving, put‑away, and materials transfers.
• Troubleshoot complex inventory and departmental errors, conduct root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
• Guide and manage the process of material flow within the facility to internal customers.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure efficient workflow and positive working relationships among teams.
• Conduct training for employees on all aspects of job performance including safety, quality, business processes, and HR policies.
• Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, and continuous development within the team.

• 3–5 years of leadership experience in a high volume manufacturing environment.
• Experience in areas such as engineering, logistics, supply chain management, or other related manufacturing functions.
• Experience with warehouse management systems.
• Proficiency in MS Office applications including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Experience with operating and maintaining a variety of warehouse material handling equipment.
• Experience with warehouse scanning equipment and applications.

• Experience with SAP WM module.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Certification in supply chain management (e.g., APICS, CPIM, CSCP).
• Experience with lean manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.

Siemens offers a variety of health and wellness benefits. Pay range for this position is $61,547 – $105,509 annually, depending on budget and candidate experience, knowledge, skills, qualifications, and geographic premium.
