Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a Receiving Coordinator - 1st Shift - RDC at our new facility on Innovation Loop in Youngsville, NC.
The pay rate for this position is $20 per hour. Core hours are 8:30am - 5:30pm.
What you’ll do- Enter data for shipping/receiving orders and work with internal and external customers to resolve issues related to invoicing, shipping, and on‑hand counts in the warehouse.
- Ensure the accuracy of transaction documents for incoming and outgoing material.
- Evaluate shipments for adherence to all state, federal, and global restrictions.
- Serve as a SAP system expert on the team.
- Schedule transportation for truckload and less-than-truckload shipments.
- Assist the department in loading/unloading trucks, scanning and tagging as needed.
- Adhere to environmental, health, and safety rules and regulations.
- Provide process and safety improvement ideas.
- Use the principles of 5S+ to maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate forklifts, performing daily inspection checklists and 5S+ housekeeping duties.
Required (Basic)
Qualifications:
- One year of experience in logistics or a warehouse environment.
- High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
- Only candidates within a 50‑mile radius of the location will be considered; relocation assistance is not available. Active‑Duty Military Service members are exempt from the geographic limitation.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience using SAP.
- Experience with forklifts.
- Basic computer working knowledge.
- Follow procedures and written instructions.
- Read and interpret standard operating procedures.
- Work daily and/or weekend overtime; willingness to flex to different areas or local plants as needed.
- Lift 50 lbs.
- Stand and bend frequently.
