About this positionThe Inventory Team Member in the Disposition Warehouse is responsible for managing the flow of used medical devices through inventory processes, including receiving, inspecting, cataloging, organizing, and tracking devices for resale. The role requires detail orientation, efficiency, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What you’ll do- Unload and unpack incoming used medical devices, inspecting items for damage and documenting conditions accurately.
- Record device details—including serial numbers, model numbers, and conditions—into the company’s inventory management system (e.g., Net Suite).
- Maintain organization of inventory, ensuring devices are labeled, stored correctly, and easily located.
- Assist in cleaning, basic testing, and refurbishing of devices as required before resale.
- Monitor stock levels, rotate inventory, and track product flow between incoming and ready-for-shipment devices.
- Coordinate with sales and operations teams to prepare devices for disposition, ensuring timely availability for resale or shipment.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety standards and procedures.
- Communicate with the Warehouse Manager and team members on inventory status, equipment issues, and process improvement recommendations.
- Assist with picking, packing, and shipping devices as needed to meet order fulfillment timelines.
- Participate in regular physical inventory counts and audits for accurate inventory levels.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Previous experience as a box truck driver is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to frequently lift and carry heavy equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of medical equipment handling is a plus.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Experience in warehouse environments, including standing, walking, and lifting for extended periods.
- Exposure to used medical devices and adherence to handling protocols.
