Warehouse Assistant - 2nd Shift
The Warehouse Assistant will prepare orders for shipment by reading a pick list, gathering orders, adding strapping and stretch wrap, and providing documentation according to customer specifications. Assist in inventory counts and warehouse organization.
This role will require 30 days training onsite, during the day shift. After 30 days, the employee will transfer to the 2nd Shift, Monday
- Friday 2:00 p.m.
- 10:00 p.m.
Coordinate shipment of outgoing goods including the handling of proper documentation and shipment tracing.
Prepare bills of lading for outbound shipment and contacting motor carries for pickup.
Consolidate outbound shipments to customers.
Receive, stock, and deliver goods.
Assist in counting physical inventory.
Drive a fork truck and obtain certification for safe operation.
Ensure the warehouse is accessible and safe.
Receive, track, and distribute materials, supplies, and equipment.
Understand and follow safety procedures.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Possess a minimum one year of warehouse-related experience required.
High attention to detail
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Proven ability to operate a fork truck and other material handling equipment.
Proven ability to wear required protective equipment and devices.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts; high, precarious places; fumes or airborne particles and outside weather conditions.
The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to use their hands to finger, handle, or feel.
