Material Handler II- Display

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Unloadandreceive incomingshipmentsofmaterials,ensuringaccuracyand completeness of orders.

• Inspectandsortreceivedproductsforqualityandaccuracy,communicating any discrepancies or damages with team members and department leaders.

• Prepareandmaintainaccuraterecordsofreceivedshipments.

• Stageinboundmaterials/gaylordstodesignatedareasforfurtherprocessing.

• Fulfillcustomerorders–POP, Display fulfillment–throughpicking,packing,and shipping.

• Performafinalinspectionofproduct’soutercartontoensurecustomersatisfaction

• Validateshipmentquantities,stackproductinaccordancetostandards,adhereplacards, weigh, and wrap pallets to prepare shipments.

• Conductregularcyclecountsofinventoryitemsbasedonestablishedschedulesandpriorities.

• Physicallyverifythequantity,condition,andlocationofitemsinstock.

• Accuratelyrecordinventorycountsandadjustmentsintotheinventorymanagement system or relevant software.

• Loadtrucksandassigntripsforoutboundshipments,transfersandcustomerorders.

• Ensureorderspackedandready-to-shiparepickedupdaily.

• Manage bulkscrap–Loadcardboardbalesandscrapgaylordsfor disposal.
  
  Emptytrashhoppers.

• Adheretosafetyprotocolsandguidelineswhileperformingjobresponsibilities.

Knowledge,Skills,and Abilities:

• HighschooldiplomaorGEDrequired.

• 2+yearsofpreviousexperienceinshipping/receiving,warehousing,or inventory management and knowledge of inventory control principles and practices.

• Proficiencywithcomputersystemsandbasicsoftwareapplications.

• Strongattentiontodetailandaccuracy.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

• Strongcommunicationandproblem-solving skills.

• Requiredtofollowstandardworkandworkinstructions.

Physical Requirements:

• Abilitytobecomepowerindustrialvehiclecertifiedwithin
  30daysofhire.
• Abilitytolift,carry,push,andpullmaterialsandobjectsweighingupto
  50pounds.
• Abilityto stand,walk,stoop,kneel,bend,reach,andcrouch.
• Abilitytoremaininastationaryposition,oftenstandingforprolongedperiods.
• Dependingontheorganization’sneeds,theremaybe occasionalovertimeor holiday/weekend work during peak inventory periods.
