Position Summary:

The Warehouse Utility & Driver is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations while safely transporting materials, and products to select locations, customers, or suppliers. This position requires a dependable individual who can work efficiently in a warehouse environment and operate company vehicles safely.

Key Responsibilities Load, unload, receive, organize, and move materials and products within the warehouse.

Pick and prepare orders for delivery or shipment.

Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment as authorized.

Safely drive company vehicles to make deliveries and pickups.

Verify quantities and condition of materials before loading and upon delivery.

Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transportation.

Complete delivery paperwork, logs, and other required documentation.

Maintain an organized, clean, and safe warehouse and vehicle environment.

Assist with inventory counts and stock organization.

Perform general warehouse duties, including sweeping, trash removal, and equipment cleanup.

Follow company safety policies, traffic laws, and proper material-handling procedures.

Report damaged products, vehicle issues, inventory discrepancies, or safety concerns to management.

Assist other warehouse team members and departments as needed.

Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Valid driver's license with a safe driving record.

Previous warehouse, delivery, or material-handling experience preferred.

Forklift certification or experience is a plus.

Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.

Ability to work independently and manage delivery schedules effectively.

Reliable attendance, punctuality, and strong work ethic.

Good communication and organizational skills.

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.

Physical Requirements Ability to regularly lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds or as required by the position.

Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, and lifting.

Ability to work in varying warehouse and outdoor conditions.

Ability to safely enter and exit delivery vehicles throughout the workday.

Work Environment This position involves a combination of warehouse work, driving, loading/unloading materials, and outdoor deliveries. Safety, reliability, attention to detail, and teamwork are essential to success in the role.
