Pay Range: $15.43hr - $20.43hr Job Overview:
The Spare Parts Technician supports Supply Chain & Logistics operations by managing inventory, staging materials, operating warehouse equipment, and performing system updates within a regulated environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Follow all safety and environmental requirements in the performance of duties. Maintain inventory control of newly received components and materials, including placing them in appropriate locations. Handle material requisitions and staging area replenishment. Execute physical and system transfers of semi-finished and finished products. Pull samples upon request. Conduct physical inventory tasks, including cycle counts and annual inventory counts. Perform look-up and reordering of inventory and plant supplies.
Prepare and ship finished products. Load and unload trailers. Utilize system knowledge in Prism, AS400, and SAP. Use system transactions to transfer material and execute inventory adjustments. Perform daily inspections of forklifts, warehouse, cold rooms, and freezers. Maintain an up-to-date training status.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Ability to read, write legibly, and understand all department documentation required. Training or experience demonstrating an understanding of the risks inherent to processing, handling, and storing hazardous materials required. 3 to 5 years of warehouse experience, preferably in a GMP warehouse or pharmaceutical industry. Basic math skills including knowledge of the metric system preferred. Computer competencies required, including basic Microsoft knowledge (Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word).
Experience with a computerized inventory system such as SAP preferred. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to operate stand-up and sit-down forklifts preferred. Strong organizational skills. Ability to execute a work plan and adapt to changes in the schedule.
Physical Requirements (Due to nature of job, The candidate must have):
Ability to move equipment and supplies weighing up to 33 lbs within the facility using various body positions. Ability to routinely operate and inspect manufacturing equipment using hands. Ability to strap and unstrap pallets using hands. Ability to remain in a stationary position (sitting and standing) 50% of the time. Ability to meet corrected vision requirements of 20/25 based on role.
Ability to meet color vision requirements based on role. Ability to handle transport of hazardous materials. Ability to perform critical job functions in extremely cold work environments. Ability to work in loud noise environments with hearing protection. Ability to pass a driving exam for powered industrial trucks. Benefits:
