Warehouse Shipping Specialist / Direct Hire

Pay: $22 (OT to be expected)

Hours:

12pm-8am (M-F)

Eligible for benefits in 30 days

Position Overview

Pro Staffing is recruiting an experienced Warehouse Specialist for a local manufacturing company. This position supports day-to-day shipping, receiving, inventory movement, and material handling in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and comfortable operating multiple types of warehouse equipment.

What You'll Do
  • Prepare and process daily outbound shipments, verifying the correct products and quantities are shipped.
  • Pick, stage, move, stack, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.
  • Operate material-handling equipment safely while supporting shipping, receiving, and inventory movement.
  • Follow FIFO inventory procedures when preparing and moving product.
  • Receive incoming materials and containers and accurately record transactions in the ERP system.
  • Verify product labels and ensure inventory transactions are processed correctly.
  • Organize materials on racks, shelves, bins, and designated warehouse locations.
  • Process returned shipments and coordinate with Customer Service and Quality as needed.
  • Work closely with Customer Service to ensure shipments are handled on time and communicate issues promptly.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Assist with providing direction to other warehouse employees when needed.
    • Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1+ year of warehouse experience.
  • Previous experience operating a sit-down forklift.
  • Previous experience operating a stand-up forklift.
  • Previous experience operating a boom lift / cherry picker.
  • Experience using an RF scanner for inventory, picking, receiving, or shipping.
  • Comfortable using computers and warehouse / inventory systems.
  • Ability to regularly lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately process inventory.
  • Dependable, safety-conscious, and comfortable working in a fast-paced team environment.
