Screen invoices to ensure payment process is in compliance with disbursement and procurement regulations by interpreting state and agency policies.
Determine need for corrective action, if any, to be taken on invoices or purchase orders to complete payments, obtain credits, resolve payment discrepancies, etc. by conferring with vendors, procurement officers, and requestors.
Process invoices into South Carolina enterprise information system for daily submission to comptroller general.
Analyze reports, system data, and documents to resolve vendor statement problems and undertake corrective action.
Identify need for new/updated purchase orders for monthly billings.

Minimum Requirements:
A high school diploma and entry-level experience in accounting or bookkeeping. A bachelor’s degree with multiple accounting courses may be substituted for required work experience.
