Indirect Tax Analyst

Position Overview

The Tax Analyst will report to the Manager of Indirect Tax and Technology and play a vital role in the global indirect tax workspace. The ideal candidate will have a fundamental understanding of the global indirect tax compliance process, including sales, use, and property filings and possess excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.

• Fully support the global indirect tax compliance lifecycle, coordinating with third‑party service providers.
• Prepare reconciliations of all sales, use, and property tax accounts.
• Resolve indirect tax related notices from various tax jurisdictions.
• Support sales and property tax audits, working closely with internal departments, location personnel, and external consultants.
• Conduct preliminary tax research using available tax research tools.
• Support internal requests to resolve tax related customer inquiries and business unit procurement processes.
• Review, validate, and manage exemption certificates.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
• Up to three years of experience in sales and property taxes with multi‑jurisdictional exposure.
• VAT tax compliance experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with sales tax compliance software and ERP systems (Vertex and SAP preferred).
• Process improvement/continuous improvement mindset.
• Strong organizational and problem‑solving skills, with a willingness to learn and contribute in a fast‑paced environment.

This role follows a hybrid schedule based at our North Charleston, SC headquarters.
