An automotive dealership located in North Charleston, SC is looking for a detailed and organized Accounting Clerk to add to their Accounting team. This position plays an important role in helping the Accounting Office run smoothly in their day to day operations.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Posting transactions and document management related to sale and purchase of vehicles for multiple dealerships
- Reconciling GL entries & bank accounts
- Data entry for AP & AR
- Preparation of checks and invoices
- Participation in month-end closeout duties

- Knowledge of basic accounting practices including AP/AR, account reconciliation, data entry related to accounting practices, etc
- Ability to work in team environment
- Some accounting experience is necessary
- Detail Oriented
- Organization skills
- Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information
