Someone who can create a welcoming first impression while keeping our front desk running smoothly. If you enjoy a face-paced environment and being the go-to person for guests and staff, this role is for you!
Position SummaryThe Receptionist facilitates the flow of hospital's communication; provides customer-friendly environment for customers and staff via telephone and face-to-face communication. Communicates department information and updates to receptionists and staff members providing coverage at the front desk.
Key Responsibilities- Appropriately answers and responds to incoming telephone calls in a courteous and customer-friendly manner
- Provides requested information or direction to callers
- Greets and responds to visitors in a customer-friendly manner
- Manages visitors sign-in and gives visitors badges
- Directs and assists visitors and patients to the correct location or staff members as appropriate
- Manages patient items brought in by visitors
- Maintains documentation related to Needs Assessment and referral calls
- Provides clerical support to hospital as needed and assinged by department head
- Performs other duties as assigned/required by this position

QualificationsEducation: High School diploma or GED required
Experience: 1 year experience with multi-line phone system preferred
Licensure/
Competency:
BLS is required; CPI is preferred
