The Demolition Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily demolition operations at project sites throughout SE and other locations as assigned. This is a 100% travel position requiring continuous travel and extended stays away from home based on project assignments. The Demolition Supervisor supervises field personnel and ensures projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.

    Plan, organize, and direct daily demolition activities to meet project schedules and production g
  • oals.

    Conduct daily pre-task planning meetings to communicate work assignments, project expectations, and safety requirem

    Assign work responsibilities to crew members based on experience and project n
  • eeds.

    Monitor project progress and adjust work plans as necessary to maximize producti
  • vity.

    Coordinate with project management regarding schedules, equipment needs, subcontractors, and project upd
  • ates.

    Ensure all work is performed according to project specifications, engineering plans, and applicable regulat
  • ions.

    Maintain positive working relationships with clients, contractors, inspectors, and other stakehol
  • gement
    Promote and enforce a safety-first work envir
  • onment.

    Ensure compliance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), applicable state regulations, and company safety po
  • licies.

    Conduct daily safety briefings and regular toolbox
  • talks.

    Identify unsafe conditions and immediately implement corrective a
  • ctions.

    Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment
  • (PPE).Verify that all equipment inspections and pre-operational safety checks are com
  • pleted.

    Report and investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and property
  • damage.

    Maintain proper documentation of safety meetings, inspections, and incident r
  • adership
    Supervise demolition crews and equipment operators at multiple project l
  • ocations.

    Train employees on demolition methods, equipment operation, safety procedures, and company
  • policies.

    Monitor employee performance and provide coaching and corrective guidance a
  • s needed.

    Promote teamwork, accountability, and professional
  • conduct.

    Recommend employees for advancement based on performance and demonstrated le

    Ensure equipment is properly maintained and inspected

    Qualifications
    High school diplom
  • a or GED preferred.

    Minimum two (2) years of dem
  • olition experience.

    Minimum one (1) year of supervisory or crew leadership ex
  • perience preferred.

    Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to operat
  • e company vehicles.

    Ability to obtain any required project-speci
  • fic certifications.

    OSHA 30-Hour Construction certi
  • fication preferred.

    Current First Aid/CPR certi
  • fication preferred.

    Must be willing and able to travel 100% of the time, including extended overnight stays, weekends, and work in multiple states as busi
  • ire.
    Required Skills
    Thorough knowledge of commercial, industrial, and structural

    Working knowledge of OSHA construction standards and demolitio

    Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, demolition plans
