Role Description

This is an unpaid, part-time, remote role based in Lexington, SC. As a Social Media Producer, you will be responsible for developing and executing effective social media strategies that align with the organization’s goals. You will collaborate with the internal team to design campaigns, strengthen the organization’s online presence, and foster a connected community of learners and supporters.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute social media strategies that align with the organization’s goals.
  • Create, post, and manage engaging social media content.
  • Produce high-quality and compelling videos.
  • Monitor social media trends and analyze engagement performance.
  • Collaborate with the internal team to design campaigns and strengthen the organization’s online presence.
  • Foster a connected community of learners and supporters.
Qualifications
  • Proven skills in Social Media Marketing and Content Strategy
  • Experience in Video Production and creating multimedia content
  • Strong Communication and Writing skills
  • Ability to analyze social media metrics and optimize strategies for engagement
  • Creativity and an ability to generate fresh, engaging content ideas
  • Proficiency in social media platforms and tools (e.g., Instagram, Twitter, Linked In, Facebook) and video editing software such as Davinci Resolve or Final Cut Pro
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Familiarity with educational or nonprofit environments is a plus
