Position: Physician - Cardiology - Non-Invasive (Pelham)
Job Requirements

Spartanburg Medical Center (SMC) is seeking to hire a full-time, board-certified/board eligible (BC/BE) Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join a well-established practice in Greer, SC, at Pelham Medical Center. The practice has been serving the community for 50 years and includes a team of 9 BC Interventional Cardiologists, 3 Electrophysiologists, 5 Non-Interventional Cardiologists, supported by Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) in both clinic and hospital settings.

Responsibilities include:
  • Performing in-house echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, and nuclear stress studies.
  • Managing 6-8 new consults daily during office hours.
  • Reading approximately 5 echocardiograms daily.
  • Handling hospital consults, averaging 1-2 new cases daily, with APP support.
  • Reading 8-10 echocardiograms daily.
  • Participating in call rotation: 1:14 weeknights and 1:7 weekends.
  • Involvement in structural imaging and CT programs.
  • Utilizing EPIC EMR system.
  • Working at a PSLF-approved institution.
