Medical Center is seeking a Cardiac Care Non-Invasive Cardiologist Overview

Cardiac Care Non-Invasive Cardiologist required in an outpatient and inpatient setting. The role is ideal for a practice with 2 physicians (senior and junior).

• Outpatient and inpatient role
• Designated clinic days and dedicated OR time for Cardiac Care procedures
• Standard office hours (4.5 clinic days):
  Mon-Thurs 8am-5pm / Fri 8am-12pm
• Protected administrative time (4 hours per week)
• Visit times: 20 minutes new / 20 minutes follow up (adjustable to fit new physician)
• Call schedule: no more than 10 days per month, collaborative with Interventional Cardiac Care and open procedures
• 5 APPS employed covering clinic and inpatient consults, stress lab
• Support Staff: dedicated team including nurses, front office staff, ultrasound technicians, experienced RNs with Cardiac Care expertise, plus support from 3 interventional cardiologists and non-invasive imaging staff
• Cerner EMR
• Patient Population: primarily adults aged 55 and older, smokers and individuals with peripheral cardiac conditions such as claudication
• Referral Sources: referrals processed through Central Scheduling, both internal and external
• Ultrasound Workflow: 8/10 referrals require ultrasound before appointment; reviewed by Cardiac Care surgery team and scheduled by front office
• Ultrasound Scheduling: one location, Monday and Friday
• Post-Ultrasound appointments: scheduled after the ultrasound
• Patient Volume: 60-75 +/- referrals per month
• Collaborative space with Interventional Cardiac Care; potential cross-referrals with IR and Cath lab
• Plans to build a hybrid room for minimally invasive procedures
• Facilities: 2-room Cath lab, 10 ORs, 14-bed Cardiac Monitoring Unit (CMU)
• Clinic connected directly to Cath lab for workflow
• In-house wound care with hyperbaric chambers
• Equipment: DSA, 256-slice CT scanner, MRI (3T and 1.5T), in-office ultrasound machine

Base Salary: $775,000 – $825,000 (based on experience; negotiated)

Income potential: $1 million

Sign-on Bonus: $50k+
