Bihar School Teacher Competency Examination 2025:
Final date to receive applications Extended to March 23

The Bihar School Education Committee has announced an extension to the Final date to receive applications for the Teacher Recruitment Examination (TRE-1/TRE-2/TRE-3) for 2025. Eligible candidates must submit their online applications by March 23, 2025 . This recruitment initiative aims to regularize teaching positions across primary, middle, and secondary schools in Bihar under Rule 4 of the Bihar School Special Teacher Rules, 2023.

Teachers must meet the following requirements to be eligible:

• Must be appointed by local bodies in state primary/middle/secondary/higher secondary schools
• Must possess the educational qualifications as prescribed
• Teachers who have not passed the competency examination (first and second) previously can participate
• Teachers who have appeared in the competency examination 2024 (second) can also apply

The examination will consist of 150 multiple-choice questions divided into different sections:

The notification includes comprehensive subject codes for various teaching positions. Some of the subjects include:

The examination includes reservation according to Bihar state government norms:

• Registration:
  Click on “
  Register New Candidate
  ” to complete the initial registration process
• After successful registration, candidates will receive an OTP for verification
• Login using the User  registered mobile number
• Fill out the application form with accurate personal and educational details
• Upload photo and signature:
  • Photo size: 20KB to 100KB (3.5cm×4.5cm)
  • Signature size: 10KB to 50KB
• Make payment through the selected payment gateway
• Review the application before final submission
• Take a printout of the completed application form

• Online application starts:
  February 22, 2025
• Last date for application:
  Earlier, it was March 12, 2025, which is now extended to March 23, 2025
• Admit cards will be available on the committee’s website closer to the examination date

• General and other category candidates: ₹1,100/-
• The examination will be conducted through Computer Based Test (CBT)

Candidates should have the following documents ready before applying:

• 10th and 12th mark sheets and certificates
• Graduation mark sheets and certificates
• Caste certificate (if applicable)
• PwD certificate (if applicable)
• TET/CTET/STET or equivalent certificate
• Digital photograph and signature
