Before School Care Supporter

Hours: 6:30-8:00am EST

CCA is looking for dedicated professionals to support activities in our before school program. Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, have experience working with children, and be committed to CCA's mission and values.

• Transition scholars from the before school program to their classroom in accordance with the CCA way
• Plan meaningful activities, directed by the leadership
• Joyfully engage scholars in activities that build relationships and engage their creativity
• Take responsibility for safe and compliant drop off for each scholar in accordance to CCA policies
• Communicate openly, honestly, regularly, and effectively with families, scholars, and CCA staff
• Attend school wide functions and community events as requested.

Before School Supporters will perform other duties as required to achieve the school’s mission.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in teaching or managing students.
• Enthusiasm for teaching creative subjects.
• Evidence of self-motivation and willingness to be a team player.
• Experience working with a culturally diverse student body preferred.

• Work hard to achieve the school’s mission.
• Improve the minds and lives of scholars in and out of the classroom.
• Communicate clearly and effectively in both oral and written language.
• Establish and maintain positive relationships with a variety of people.
• Engage families and the larger community in the life of the school.

Compensation: Compensation in accordance with experience
