We are seeking a hands-on and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team at Stanadyne, a global leader in automotive fuel and air management systems. The Engineering Technician will support engineering and manufacturing teams in the design, testing, and implementation of new and existing products and processes. This role plays a key part in ensuring product quality, process efficiency, and technical excellence on the production floor.

• Product & Process Support: Assist engineers with the design, build, testing, and validation of components, assemblies, and systems.
• Product & Process Support: Support prototype development and perform functional and durability testing.
• Product & Process Support: Document and analyze test data and provide feedback to engineering for process and product improvements.
• Product & Process Support: Participate in new product introduction (NPI) activities, including process setup and validation.
• Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Support manufacturing process improvements to increase efficiency, safety, and product quality.
• Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Assist in troubleshooting equipment and process issues, identifying root causes, and implementing corrective actions.
• Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with maintenance and production teams to ensure smooth equipment operation and minimal downtime.
• Manufacturing & Continuous Improvement: Participate in Lean Manufacturing and 5S initiatives.
• Technical Documentation & Quality: Maintain accurate documentation, including work instructions, test reports, and technical specifications.
• Technical Documentation & Quality: Ensure all work meets company and customer quality standards.
• Technical Documentation & Quality: Support engineering change requests (ECRs) and engineering change notices (ECNs).
• Equipment & Tooling: Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory and production testing equipment.
• Equipment & Tooling: Assist in the design and fabrication of fixtures, tools, and gauges used in production and testing.

• Education: Associate degree in Engineering Technology, Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or related field preferred.
• Education: High school diploma with equivalent hands-on technical experience will also be considered.
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment (automotive industry preferred).
• Skills: Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems, blueprints, and schematics.
• Experience: Experience with test equipment, measurement tools, and data collection systems.
• Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with CAD software (Solid Works, AutoCAD, or similar).
• Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
• Work Style: Ability to work independently and in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
