Position: Engineering Technician with Security Clearance
Description
* assisting in the fabrication and integration of c4isr system cabling to be installed into multiple variants of ship vessels (navy & msc) to include: cvn, lha, lpd, tao, tats class ships
* assisting technical staff members in the fabrication, integration, testing, operation, maintenance and repair of electrical and mechanical circuits
* assembling rf, fiber, network, serial, mil-spec, and power connector and cable assemblies according to cable run sheets, parts lists, assembly instructions/procedures, and assembly drawings
* performing on-site installation of equipment and products in the continental united states within various environments to include naval bases and privately owned shipyards #li-sf1 requirements
* high school diploma/ged
* 0-2 years of work experience
* must be able to perform daily assigned tasks with direct supervision
* must be able to perform basic computer tasks and use applications to include but not limited to: outlook (emails), adobe reader (documents & drawings), wte (daily electronic timekeeping), etc.
* read and interpret drawings: physical copies or digital
* effective communication skills both written and verbal desired skills
* understanding of multiple standards such as: ipc-620, mil-std-2003-5b clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s. Government, this position will require u.s. Citizenship and eligibility for a u.s. Government security clearance at the secret level travel requirements
