Position: Technical Writer III with Security Clearance
Description
* preparing, reviewing, revising, and maintaining technical documents including software and systems engineering, system operations, testing, and user documentation
* developing various technical and programmatic documents with support from subject matter experts and engineers
* ensuring technical documentation is accurate, complete, meets government specifications, and adheres to standards for quality, graphics, coverage, format, and style
* writing and editing technical documentation for hardware and software to include installation, configuration, and how-to documentation
* supporting other technical papers as needed
* supporting training documentation development to include user guides and ietms
* writing and updating material for reports, manuals, briefs, proposals, instruction books, catalogs, and related technical and administrative publications concerned with work methods and procedures, and installation, operation, and maintenance
* refining, heading, and coordinating activities of writers engaged in preparing technical, scientific, medical, or other material for publication in conjunction with or independent from manufacturing, research, and related activities #li-ll1 requirements
* bachelor's level degree in any field
* five years directly supporting c4i technical writing desired skills
* microsoft office suite experience
* interactive electronic technical manual (ietm) experience clearance information src is a contractor for the u.s. Government, this position will require u.s. Citizenship as well as, a u.s. Government security clearance at the secret level with top secret / sci eligibility travel requirements
